This past December Sun Bay Marina invited the Auxiliary to participate in the grand opening of a new marina on the east coast of Puerto Rico.  Some dealers including West Marine participated in the event.  Members of Flotilla 11, Fajardo, PR, joined with U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel in manning a boating safety and information booth.

At the booth we promoted our Auxiliary safety programs while the U.S. Customs personnel promoted new “Local Boaters Option Program.”  Flotilla members attended a brief seminar on their program.  We then sent the information to all instructors for updating and distribution in our boating courses.
