Radio Disney in Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Fresno and Riverside and 13 area Sam’s Club locations came together to make a difference on the waterways of California. This year, we held the “Annual Life Jacket Trade-In” the weekend before Memorial Day to help reinforce the message about safe boating and wearing a life jacket on the water.

During the annual trade-in, we encouraged families to bring in their kids life vests that were too small, damaged or torn and Cal Boating would proved them with a new Coast Guard approved vest.

The participating Sam’s Club donated a Grant of $1000 to go toward the purchase of life vest and to help the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Cal Boating, Search and Rescue, & The Aquatic Center buy jackets and keep our waterways up and down the state safe this summer.. A BIG thanks to Sam’s Club for the Grant donation to those non-profits. Radio Disney was at several of the Sam’s Club locations playing games music and handing out fun prizes for the kids.
