The Long Range Planning Committee (LRPC) is a cross functional group chartered by the National Commodore. The LRPC team meets when given an assignment by the National Commodore (NACO). Typically meetings are held in conjunction with the Auxiliary NTRAIN and National Conference (NACON) meetings. The LRPC does not set policy or change Auxiliary processes. Written reports of the committee proceedings, including recommendations, are submitted to the NACO for consideration and possible action.

The LRPC is currently chaired by Robert P. Myers, N-L. CDR. Other members are COMO Henry Pratt, PNACO; COMO Carol Urgola, past NADCO-MS; COMO Jewell Welch, PDCO 8WR; Linda Merryman, past DC-I; and Martin Phillips, Executive Director CGAuxA, Inc. With the exception of the chair, membership in the LRPC does not carry an Auxiliary office. Membership changes on an irregular basis as determined by the NACO.
