The Association met following the Committee of the Whole session on Friday morning.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary Association is the parallel non-profit organization to the Coast Guard Auxiliary whose primary mission is fund-raising to support boating safety and the missions of the Auxiliary that are not government-funded. The Association has a corporate board of Directors and Officers that oversee the operations. Each Auxiliarist is a member, and the National Commodore of the Auxiliary is the Association President.

In his President’s Report, Association President Gene Seibert urged all Auxiliarists to recruit people in their communities who are interested in boating safety boating efforts and would like to contribute financially to our mission by becoming associate members.

Financial, legal and business reports were presented for the attendees’ consideration and discussion.
