See you next year!

It’s been said before many times and many ways – one of the hardest things to do is to say goodbye. Departing from NACON is no exception, and many have mixed emotions as they prepare to return home.

The whirlwind of activity from the past few days passes quickly, sometimes too quickly for most attendees, leaving too little time on Sunday to say goodbye to our friends and colleagues. Although they may only see each other, there is truly a bond that forms between the NACON attendees.

Most savor the Sunday breakfast or a last cup of coffee with colleagues that they will not see for several months – perhaps even a year. However, phone calls and e-mail will continue to keep the bond strong until they meet live and in person again.

It could be said that an Esprit de Corps has formed amongst the participants, not an easily accomplished feat in today’s hustle and bustle world! The sense of camaraderie, sense of mission and purpose experienced at NACON seems to build a powerful bond that survives the separation of both time and distance.

Next year, plan to experience NACON for yourself; you’ll be glad you did!
